HLPS’s most important function or purpose is to educate the public, riparian owners, and other users of Hamlin Lake on Water quality, safety, surface use, air quality, ecology, vegetation, wildlife, and other natural resources of our beautiful lake and surrounding environment.  One of the ways HLPS accomplishes this is thru publication and recommendations on scientific tests performed by volunteers of the membership.  Additionally, by working with our partners HLPS receives direction and provides financial support, bringing the community together in a cohesive environmentally aware team.
